BMW M41

The BMW M41 is an in-line four-cylinder diesel engine from the car manufacturer BMW . It was produced from 1994 to 2000. Its successor was the M47 in 1999 .

The engine is BMW's first four-cylinder diesel engine and a derivative of the M51 in- line six-cylinder engine , with which it shares 86% of the components. Thus the M41 is not completely redeveloped.

Its weight is 153 kg.
