Baek is a part of the community Groß Pankow in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg .

geography

Baek is located about ten kilometers northwest of the center of the community in Groß Pankow. The Strigleben part of the municipality belongs to Baek .

history

Baek was first mentioned in detail in 1343. On December 31, 2002 it was incorporated into Groß Pankow.

Infrastructure

In the village there is a baker, a carpenter, a locksmith, a hairdresser, an agricultural cooperative, two ecological restitutors and an agricultural consultancy company.

There is also a day-care center based on Montessori education and a primary school in the village .

Transport links

Landstrasse 103 runs through Baek. Baek also had its own train station on the Westprignitzer Kreisringbahn . However, this was shut down on September 27, 1975. The nearest train stations today are Groß Pankow and Karstädt . Bus lines 931 and 933 also stop in Baek.
