Langnow is an inhabited part of the municipality in the district of Boddin-Langnow of the unofficial municipality Groß Pankow (Prignitz) in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg .

geography

The place is 3 kilometers east-northeast of Boddin , 16 kilometers southeast of Groß Pankow and 28 kilometers east of Perleberg .

Neighboring towns are Bölzke in the north, Hoheheide and Heidelberger Mühle in the northeast, Heidelberg in the east, Blumenthal and Buchhorst in the southeast, Breitenfeld in the south, Schönebeck and Boddin in the southwest and Sarnow in the northwest.

history

The village was a municipality in the Ostprignitz district until July 24, 1952 and then came to the Pritzwalk district . On April 1, 1974 it was incorporated into Boddin-Langnow and became a district there. Since December 31, 2002, through the merger of Boddin-Langnow and 13 other municipalities, the place has been an inhabited part of the municipality in the Boddin-Langnow district of the municipality of Groß Pankow (Prignitz).
