The Goes railway station is the station of the town Goes in Zeeland . It is located on the Zeeuwse Lijn (Zealand Line), which runs from Vlissingen via Roosendaal to Amsterdam , and is the main train station in the Zuid-Beveland region .
The station was opened in 1868 and modernized in 1982. Under the tracks is a pedestrian tunnel that was extended in 2002 and thus also connects the southern part of the station with the northern part. It has five tracks and a central platform where an Intercity to Amsterdam or Vlissingen stop every half hour in each direction . Various bus lines that connect the train station with the surrounding area stop in the forecourt. There is also a taxi stand and several bicycle stations.
