The Mariënberg Station is a train station in the Dutch city Mariënberg (municipality Hardenberg ) in the province of Overijssel . The station was opened on February 1, 1905 on the Zwolle - Emmen railway line. On October 1, 1906, the Mariënberg– Almelo line was added.

history

The station was built on behalf of Noordoosterlocaalspoorweg-Maatschappij (NOLS). Eduard Cuypers designed the station building . Freight traffic to and from the station ended on January 10, 1966.

In 2001 the Nederlandse Spoorwegen sold the station building. The “Het Station” café can now be found there.
