Balky ( Ukrainian Балки ; Russian Балки Balki ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Zaporizhia with about 6000 inhabitants (2004).
The village, founded in 1795, is the only place in the district council of the same name in the west of Wassyliwka Rajon . It is located on the (left) south bank of the Dnieper , which is dammed up to the Kachowka reservoir , and borders the city of Dniprorudne in the east .
Balky is located 35 km southeast of Enerhodar , 33 km southwest of Vasylivka district center and 85 km southwest of Zaporizhia Oblast center .
The regional road P-37 runs through the municipality .
