Banga is a district in northern Angola .

Banga is the seat of a district of the same name ( Município ) in the province of Cuanza Norte . The district area covers 1275 km² with around 12,000 inhabitants (2013 estimates). From now on, the 2014 census should provide reliable population data.
Four communities (Comunas) form the Banga district:
- Aldeia Nova
- Banga
- Caculo Cabaça
- Cariamba
