Cazengo is a district in northern Angola .

Cazengo is a district ( Município ) of the province of Cuanza Norte . The district covers 1793 km² with about 198,000 inhabitants (2019 estimate). The 2014 census showed 171,741 inhabitants. The seat of the district is the city of N'dalatando .
Two municipalities (Comunas) make up the Cazengo district:
- Canhoca (formerly Caculo)
- Ndalatando
economy
The main industry is agriculture, which is run by around 20,000 families. The district administration is trying to increase the cultivation area through subsidy programs in order to increase the potential for growing coffee, cassava, bananas, beans, corn, pineapples, avocados and vegetables.
