Banja Luka-Belgrade
Banja Luka-Belgrade is the name of two road bike races in Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina , Banja Luka-Belgrade I and Banja Luka-Belgrade II . These competitions are held as one-day races between the capital of the Bosnian entity Republika Srpska Banja Luka and the Serbian capital Belgrade . The starting point and destination change annually. In 2018, the two one-day races merged into a two-day stage race . In 2019 it was expanded to four stages.
The two races have been held annually since 2007 and have belonged to UCI Category 1.2 of the UCI Europe Tour since then . Fusion 2018 gave the race the status of a category 2.1 race .
The record winner of the Banja Luka-Belgrade I race is Slovene Marko Kump , who won twice. The record winner of Banja Luka-Belgrade II is his compatriot Matej Mugerli , who also won twice.
