Barbara Roxana Wezorke (born April 12, 1993 in Rüsselsheim ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Wezorke began her career in her hometown at Tg 1862 Rüsselsheim . Then she played at the TG Bad Soden before she went to the junior team of the VC Olympia Dresden , for which she competed in the second division. She also won the German U18 and U20 championships.

In 2011 the middle blocker switched to Bundesliga club 1. VC Wiesbaden , followed in 2013 by an engagement in Switzerland at VC Kanti Schaffhausen , before after a season in South America with Brasília Vôlei (2014/15) she was back under contract in the German Bundesliga with Rote Raben Vilsbiburg was standing.

At the beginning of May 2017, Dresdner SC announced the commitment of Wezorke. In the following season, Wezorke achieved the Cup victory with the Dresden club and made it to the playoff semi-finals . In mid-May 2018, the association announced the extension of their contract by one year. In 2019 she was eliminated from the fight for the German championship with the Dresden team in the playoff round of 16 . In order to be able to meet her wish to combine playing volleyball and completing a degree, she decided not to extend her contract, which was about to expire. She then switched to USC Münster , where she can study psychology at the same time at the WWU Münster .
