Anika Brinkmann (born August 4, 1986 in Vechta ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Anika Brinkmann started with volleyball at SCU Emlichheim . In 2005 she moved to the Bundesliga club USC Münster , where she was voted best service player in the German volleyball rankings in 2007 . After four years in Münster, the outside attacker went to league competitor Alemannia Aachen in 2009 . In 2010 Anika Brinkmann moved to the SWE volley team in Erfurt and in early 2011 to the Thuringian local rival VfB 91 Suhl . At the beginning of 2012 she went to the second division Allgäu Team Sonthofen and in 2012/13 she played at VfL Oythe in the second Bundesliga north . Then she returned to the Bundesliga at VT Aurubis Hamburg . In 2014/15 Brinkmann played again in Suhl with the VolleyStars Thuringia . Then she moved to the Greek club AO Thiras Santorini . After the birth of her son, Brinkmann first played for clubs in the 2nd Bundesliga North.

In the 2019/20 season, Brinkmann was again under contract with Thiras Santorini. Then she returned to the USC Münster division.
