Career
societies
Robson's career began with the Glasgow Rangers ; here the Scot could never prevail and so he moved in 1997 to the then third division club Inverness Caledonian Thistle . Here, too, he did not play very often in the beginning, but he still contributed to the fact that Inverness Thistle rose to the second division in 1999. In 1999 it was awarded to Forfar Athletic . After the loan expired, Robson was an integral part of Inverness Thistle until he moved to Dundee United in 2003. Robson saw the red card on his debut for Dundee United against Hibernian Edinburgh , but he was still part of the starting XI of Dundee United. At the beginning of the 2006/07 season Robson was named captain of Dundee, in the same year he was - ahead of Charlie Adam with seven goals - with eleven goals the most dangerous midfielder in the league . On the last day of the 2007/08 winter transfer period, Robson signed with Celtic Glasgow . On February 10, 2008 he made his debut for Celtic Glasgow against FC Aberdeen . With his first ball contact in the game Robson scored a goal with a free kick. The Scot also played in the Champions League this season. On January 13, 2010 he transferred together with Willo Flood and Chris Killen to Middlesbrough FC .
National team
Between 2005 and 2007 Robson played a total of two times in Scotland's B team, a team made up of perspective players, comparable to the 2006 team . In August 2007 Robson made his debut for the senior team against South Africa .
