action

Aman Hyderabadi is a well-known poet and writes song lyrics. For his job he travels to his friend Inspector Shekhar and then sings his own texts live on " All India Radio ". On a rainy night he looks for shelter, as does Shabnam - which he can't get out of his head after that night.

Through Shekhar, he met the family of Police Commissioner Khan Bahadur. And so he meets the eldest daughter, the mysterious girl of that night. The family is looking for a private tutor for their little daughter Razia, for which Aman offers his help.

During the class, Aman and Shabnam get closer. The father overhears something of the conversations and forbids any contact. Shabnam sees the escape with Aman as the only salvation. Their escape does not go undetected and Khan Bahadur plans a quick marriage with Aftab from Lucknow . Events roll over and ultimately Shabnam's father shows insight and allows the relationship with Aman.
