Barwicha ( Russian Барви́ха ) is a settlement (possjolok) place in Odintsovo Rajon of Moscow Oblast .
It is part of Rublyovka residential area above and is located just over six kilometers west outside the Moscow Ring Road , which forms there the city border, south of the same name, on the right bank of the Moskva River and the Rubljowo-Uspensker Chaussee located village (Derevnya) towards the town of Odintsovo and the M1 motorway .
In Barwicha is, among other things, the Meyendorff Castle , today the guest house of the Russian President .
The rural community Barwichinskoje selskoje posselenije , based in the village of Barwicha, to which the settlement also belongs, includes other residential areas, such as in the village of Ussowo a few kilometers to the west ; there is the Novo-Ogarjowo estate , the residence of the Russian President since 2000.
