Basil Bhuriya
Basil Bhuriya SVD (born March 8, 1956 in Panchjui , India ) is an Indian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Jhabua .
Life
Basil Bhuriya joined the religious order of the Steyler Missionaries and was ordained a priest on May 5, 1986 .
On July 18, 2015, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Jhabua . He was ordained bishop by the Apostolic Nuncio in India, Archbishop Salvatore Pennacchio , on October 10 of the same year. Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Bhopal , Leo Cornelio SVD, and the Archbishop of Nagpur , Abraham Viruthakulangara .
