Devprasad John Ganawa
Devprasad John Ganawa SVD (born December 8, 1951 in Panchkui ) is a Roman Catholic religious and bishop of Udaipur .
Life
Devprasad John Ganawa joined the religious community of Steyler Missionaries on June 8, 1974, made perpetual vows on June 7, 1981 and was ordained a priest on October 27, 1982 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him bishop of Jhabua on May 11, 2009 . The Archbishop of Bhopal , Leo Cornelio SVD, consecrated him on June 16 of the same year as bishop ; Co- consecrators were Abraham Viruthakulangara , Archbishop of Nagpur , and Chacko Thottumarickal SVD, Bishop of Indore .
On December 21, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him. to the Bishop of Udaipur. He remained Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Jhabua until a successor was appointed in July 2015 .
