Joseph Pathalil
Joseph Pathalil (born January 27, 1937 in Nedumkunnam ) is Bishop Emeritus of Udaipur .
Life
Joseph Pathalil was ordained a priest on September 21, 1963 and was incardinated in the clergy of the Ajmer and Jaipur dioceses .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Udaipur on December 3, 1984 . He was ordained episcopate on February 14, 1985 , by Ignatius Menezes , the bishop of Ajmer and Jaipur ; Co- consecrators were Antony Padiyara , Archbishop of Changanacherry , and Leo D'Mello , Bishop Emeritus of Ajmer and Jaipur.
On December 21, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
