Batzlow is a district of the municipality of Märkische Höhe in the Märkisch-Oderland district in Brandenburg . The official business of the place is carried out by the Neuhardenberg office .

history

The first documentary mention took place in 1300. By the Margrave Albrecht III. (Brandenburg) was the Cistercian - Kloster Friedland transfer the Batzlower mill on 19 November 1300th Mentioned for the first time in the land book of Charles IV in 1375 (name variants: Boslow, Bozlow, Bogslow). The village had 60 hooves , four of which were parish and one church hoof. In 1527 there were only 56 hooves left. From before 1412 to 1872 the village of Batzlow was almost exclusively owned by the noble Barfus family , who turned it into a manor in 1485 . From 1495 Batzlow was briefly owned by the von Pfuel family .
