The Bauerngraben , also known as the Jeseritzer Bauerngraben , is a small tributary of the Ohre in Saxony-Anhalt .

Course and special features

The small river has its origin in Jeseritz in the Altmark district of Salzwedel , and flows southwards via the towns of Jeseritz, Elsebeck and Berenbrock to Calvörde in the district of Börde . The farmer's moat then flows into the Ohre at Calvörde Castle and at this point had a protective function for the castle.
