The development of administrative and judicial jurisdiction took place in 1510 to become the court of Calvörde, 1571–1807 district court Calvörde , 1807–1813 canton Calvörde , 1814–1825 district court Vorsfelde, 1825–1827 district office Vorsfelde, 1827–1850 district court Calvörde and since 1850 district directorate district Helmstedt and the district court of Calvörde. coat of arms

Blazon : “Split between gold and red; in front three green rhombuses placed in stakes, behind a golden stylized tendril. "

During the GDR era, Berenbrock had a municipal coat of arms that was not heraldic in its tinging and graphics and was not approved by the state government. It is a decision of the municipality to largely preserve the symbolism and coloring of this customary coat of arms, ie the old coat of arms was heraldically corrected. The three green rhombs symbolize the three districts (Berenbrock, Elsebeck, Lössewitz) and the golden, stylized tendril refers to the hops cultivated in the region in the 18th and 19th centuries.

The colors of the former municipality are red - gold (yellow).

The coat of arms was designed by the heraldist Jörg Mantzsch and approved on February 4, 2002 by the Magdeburg Regional Council.

flag

The flag is red-yellow (1: 1) striped (hoisted flag: stripes running vertically, cross flag: stripes running horizontally) and covered with the centrally placed coat of arms.
