TV studio Munich Atelierbetriebs GmbH (1966–1997)

Wilhelm Vaillant sold the new studios to the ZDF regional studio in Bavaria in 1966 after trying to set up his own production. ZDF founded its own subsidiary Fernsehstudio München Atelierbetriebs-GmbH , or FSM for short , on the property it had acquired . Many well-known television games and shows were produced in the FSM, such as Dalli Dalli .

Closure of the site (2014)

The last broadcast from Bavaria Studios in Unterföhring was produced on October 30, 2014. This was the tabloid magazine People Today .

Bavaria Film and TV Studios GmbH (1997-2010)

The studio and equipment activities of ZDF in Munich and Bavaria Film were combined in 1997 in a joint company called Bavaria Film- und Fernsehstudios GmbH , or Bavaria Studios for short . Bavaria Film, LfA Förderbank Bayern and ZDF each held a third share in the new GmbH, which started operations on July 1, 1997 .

Bavaria Studios & Production Services GmbH (from 2010)

Since February 1st, 2010 the new company name is "Bavaria Studios & Production Services GmbH". "Bavaria Production Services" and its subsidiaries have since been a wholly-owned subsidiary of the newly created group of companies.
