Beatrice Lanza (born March 22, 1982 in Biella ) is a former Italian triathlete , multiple national champion and Olympian (2004).
Career
In 2000 she became a triathlon state champion.
In July 2001 Beatrice Lanza became triathlon vice world champion in the junior division. In 2002, the then 20-year-old U23 European triathlon champion.
2004 Summer Olympics
Beatrice Lanza started at the 2004 Olympic Games , where she was the second best Italian in 15th place (behind Nadia Cortassa , 5th place).
In 2008 she was diagnosed with a heart problem and had to retire from professional sports.
She is the mother of two daughters (* 2011 and 2015).
