Belecasac ( Belekasak ) is an East Timorese Suco in the administrative office of Maucatar ( municipality of Cova Lima ).

Before the 2015 regional reform, Belecasac had an area of 22.78 km². Now it is 32.56 km². The Suco forms the east of the Fohorem administrative office. In the west are the Sucos Holpilat and Ogues , which also belong to Maucatar . To the south and east is the Suai administrative office with its Suco Labarai . Belecasac borders the Indonesian West Timor in the north . The river Raiketan forms the eastern border . The larger villages are on the eastern tip of the Sucos: Hasain and Ila . The latter two are on a country road leading north from the community capital, Suai . Hasain has a primary school, Hasain also has a medical station.
In the Suco there are the seven Aldeias Busado ( Busadau ), Dais , Du'ut , Gazolo , Ila , Loloba and Lolowa .
Residents
The Suco has 2368 inhabitants (2015), of which 1198 are men and 1170 are women. The population density is 72.7 inhabitants / km². There are 378 households in the Suco. More than 95% of the residents state Bunak as their mother tongue. Minorities speak Tetum Prasa or Tetum Terik .
politics
In the 2004/2005 elections , Tomas Amaral was elected Chefe de Suco. In the 2009 elections , Agustinho Gusmão won .
