Belinda Stewart-Wilson (born April 16, 1971 in London ) is a British actress .

Life

Belinda Stewart-Wilson was born in April 1971 to Blair Stewart-Wilson, an officer in the British Army. She grew up on military bases in Great Britain , Germany and Austria before her family settled in London as her father became Queen Elizabeth II's stable master . She first went to Hurst Lodge School in Ascot, Berkshire, before studying at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art .

From 2004 to 2011 she was married to British actor and comedian Ben Miller . The two have a son named Sonny (* 2006).

Career

Stewart-Wilson began her acting career in various British television series, including Agatha Christie's Poirot and Holby City . In addition, she could also roles in films such as Kiss Kiss (Bang Bang) or the 2007 Australian mockumentary film Razzle Dazzle: A Journey into Dance .

She gained fame in 2008 with the role of Polly McKenzie in the sitcom The Inbetweeners on the TV channel E4 . She embodied the role over three seasons until 2010 and in the two films Sex on the Beach and Sex on the Beach 2 from 2011 and 2014. At the side of her husband, she played in 2009 in the third season of the science fiction television series Primeval - return primeval the role of Christine Johnson .
