Bella Gesser (born Bella Igla ; Hebrew בלה איגלה, Russian Белла Игла ; * June 2, 1985 in Tambov , Soviet Union) is an Israeli chess player . Until 2001 she played for the Russian Chess Federation.

She took part in the Russian U12 and U16 championships and moved to Israel in 1998. Since 2003 she has been trained by Mark B. Ruderfer. She won the 25th Israeli women's championship in Ramat Aviv in 2004 by 1.5 points. With the Israeli women's national team, she took part on the third board of the 2004 , 2006 and 2008 Chess Olympiads and on the second board of the 2010 Chess Olympiad with a total of 30 points from 43 games (+24 = 12 −7). At team European Championships of women took to the Israeli national team in 2005, 2007 and 2009, in part with a total score of 13 points from 24 games (+9 = 8 -7). She plays club chess in Israel for Hapoel Petach Tikwa . With the MadaTech Haifa Chess Club she took part in the European Club Cup for women in 2008.

Since the 2004 Chess Olympiad in Calvià, she has held the title of Women's Grand Master (WGM).
