Band history

Beloved Enemy was founded in 2006 by Peter Kafka . After Peter Kafka left Fiddler's Green after 15 years , he wrote new songs for which he still needed a singer. With Ski-King “Dead L-vis” he found a native American singer as a singer at a karaoke evening in Ski-King's Nuremberg bar “Soho” . With Martin "Dog" Kessler a drummer was found who was first a member of H-Blockx and later a. a. sat on the drums when down . The line-up was completed by Ron Rauscher on guitar and Eddy on bass. Since the beginning of 2008, Chai Deveraux (Jesus on Extasy) has been playing electric guitar instead of Ron.

The song Virus Undead is on the soundtrack of the movie Virus Undead , in which Ski-King stars. Beloved Enemy recorded The Other Side for the film Ludgers Fall . In April 2007 their first album Enemy Mine was released by Twilight Distribution . The band made their live debut at WGT 2007 . Videos were shot for the songs The Other Side and Virus Undead .

In 2011 the album Thank You For The Pain was released .

On July 13, 2013, during their performance at Castle Rock, they announced the breakup of the band, so this would be their last appearance. On August 12, 2014, the band announced on their Facebook page that they would be holding another and last gig at Castle Rock 2015 under the motto “one last goodby from the otherside”.

However, this gig was canceled for health reasons.

In May 2019 it was announced that the band would play in the original line-up at the Castle Rock Festival 2020 and that new songs are already being worked on. There were then video messages from all band members to the fans, which were published on Facebook and signaled a resurgence of the band.
