Benardrick Cornelius McKinney (* 19th November 1992 in Tunica , Mississippi ) is an American American football poker players on the position of the linebackers . He plays for the Houston Texans in the National Football League (NFL).

college

McKinney, who also made a name for himself as a basketball player in high school , attended Mississippi State University and played college football for their team, the Bulldogs, successfully between 2012 and 2014 , setting 243 tackles and preventing 7 passes. He also got 7.5 sacks .

NFL

In the 2015 NFL Draft , he was selected in the second round as the 43rd player by the Houston Texans . The Texans swapped their second, fourth, and six- round picks for the Cleveland Browns ' second-round pick , so they could move forward and pick it. He was awarded a four-year contract worth $ 5.34 million , of which $ 2.82 was guaranteed, and a signing bonus of $ 2.1 million. McKinney was able to prevail from the start and was featured 14 times in his rookie season , 11 of them as a starter .
