The Beneberg is about 77.5 m above sea level. NHN high elevation of the Calvör Mountains near Velsdorf . It is located near Velsdorf in the municipality of Calvörde in the Saxony-Anhalt district of Börde .

The Beneberg is the northernmost elevation of the Calvör Mountains. It rises directly northeast of the village of Velsdorf . To the northeast, its landscape slopes down to the nearby Mittelland Canal . To the southeast lies the Strahlberg ( 83.4 m ), south of the Lange Berg ( 106 m ), southwest of the Lauseberg ( 90.5 m ) and west-southwest of the Rosenberg ( 75.5 m ). South past the mountain passes through the forest area Isernhagen the County Road 1651 (Calvörde-Velsdorf).
Natural allocation
The Beneberg belongs in the natural spatial main unit group Weser-Aller-Flachland (No. 62), in the main unit East Braunschweigisches Flachland (624) and in the subunit Obisfelder-Calvörde terminal moraine plates (624.5) to the natural area Calvörn Hügelland (624.53).
Description and history
There are two soccer fields on the edge of the village between the Beneberg summit and Velsdorf. The western part of the mountain is covered by fields, the eastern part by coniferous forest. The Beneberg used to be used for agriculture.
