Benedikt von Ahlefeldt (Provost)

Benedikt (Bendix) von Ahlefeldt (* around 1435 on Gut Seegaard near Kliplev ; † around 1505 in Haseldorf ) was a Danish bailiff and priest of the monastery of Uetersen .

Life

Benedikt von Ahlefeldt was the son of Nicolaus von Ahlefeldt and Itha (born of both) and the first of the Haseldorfer line of the Ahlefeldts . His wife was Anne von Ahlefeldt, daughter of Hans von Ahlefeldt on Lehnkuhlen. He was the Royal Danish councilor and magistrate of Flensburg and monastery provost in Uetersen and was last named on June 27 and August 14, 1501 as a "co-sponsor" in a document as the monastery provost. He carried out this office from 1501 to 1504, and died around 1505 in Haseldorf. His successor was Johann von der Wisch .
