Benjamin Siegert (born July 7, 1981 in Berlin ) is a German football player .

Career

His previous clubs were VfL Osnabrück , SV Wehen Wiesbaden , Eintracht Braunschweig , VfL Wolfsburg , Tennis Borussia Berlin , Hertha Zehlendorf and Mariendorfer SV . He played a Bundesliga game for VfL Wolfsburg . For the 2007/08 season he moved to the second division SV Wehen Wiesbaden. There he had signed a two-year contract. On June 26, 2009 he moved to the third division for VfL Osnabrück and achieved promotion to the second division with the club. After the immediate relegation of the purple-whites in the summer of 2011, Siegert joined the third division promoted Preußen Münster. With the Prussians, he first established himself in the new league and reached fourth place in the table in the 2012/13 season , with the team narrowly missing the promotion ranks to the 2nd Bundesliga.

For the 2015/16 season, Siegert moved to the Sportfreunde Lotte club , with whom he was promoted to the third division at the end of the season . Then he returned to his former youth club Tennis Borussia Berlin . However, he left this after only a half series and returned to Münster for personal reasons , where he joined the state division SC Münster 08 .

On October 5, 2007, Benjamin Siegert scored the fastest goal in the history of German professional football in the game between SV Wehen Wiesbaden and SpVgg Greuther Fürth . He put the ball in the opponent's goal after just eight seconds.
