Benno von Pfeufer

Benno Heinrich von Pfeufer (born August 21, 1804 in Bamberg , † February 10, 1871 in Munich ) was a Bavarian ministerial official and minister of state.

Life

Born studied, the son of Hofgerichtsadvokats Sebastion Pfeufer Benno von Pfeufer at the University of Würzburg Law . In 1823 he became a member of the Corps Bavaria Würzburg . After passing the state examination with distinction, he initially worked as an accessist and assessor at the government in Upper Franconia , at the regional court in Bayreuth and in the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior . In 1846 he was promoted to the government council and transferred to the government in Lower Bavaria . In 1847 he moved to the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior, being appointed Ministerialrat. A year later he came to the newly established Bavarian Ministry of Commerce . From 1859 to 1866 Pfeufer was Bavarian State Minister of Finance . In the years 1864 and 1865 he was also responsible for the Bavarian State Ministry for Trade and Public Works.
