Bent Tomtum (born February 6, 1949 in Vardal , † October 15, 2001 in Gjøvik ) was a Norwegian ski jumper .

Tomtum won his first medals at the Norwegian Championships in Voss in 1967 . He won gold on the normal hill and the silver medal on the large hill.

He began his international career on December 31, 1967 in the opening competition of the Four Hills Tournament 1967/68 in Oberstdorf . He finished jumping in 6th place. At the New Year's competition in Partenkirchen , he was fourth and in Innsbruck fifth. In Bischofshofen he only achieved a 21st place. In the end, however, he was in fourth place overall in the tour.

At the Norwegian Championships in 1968 in Raufoss , he was able to repeat his success on the normal hill and again won gold. At the Olympic Winter Games in 1968 and the Nordic World Ski Championships in Grenoble , which was also held with it , he reached 5th place on the large hill.

He last competed in 1973 at the Norwegian Championships, but was only able to win the bronze medal and then ended his active competitive career after he only landed in the rear field of jumpers in the 1972/73 Four Hills Tournament .
