Berghausen is a district of the community Blindheim in the Swabian district of Dillingen an der Donau . The village is two kilometers north of Unterglauheim on the southern slope of the Swabian Alb towards the Danube Valley .

history

Berghausen was first handed down in 1156 as "Berchuson". The place was probably created as an extension of Unterglauheim or Blindheim. A noble family named after the place is documented from 1209 to 1264. Bayern received by the Konradihaus African heritage in 1268 held in Berghausen and could until the late Middle Ages the sovereignty prevail. The Kaisheim monastery and the Dominican convent in Dillingen , which also held the tithe , also owned land in the village . In 1704, Berghausen was set on fire by French troops during the War of the Spanish Succession .

Religions

Berghausen was separated from the parish of Blindheim in 1858 and assigned to the newly created parish curate Unterglauheim, which was elevated to a parish in 1903.
