Wolpertstetten is a church village and part of the community Blindheim in the Swabian district of Dillingen an der Donau . The place is three and a half kilometers northwest of Blindheim on the raised terrace . The highest point of the district is 426  m .

history

In 1150 the place was first handed down as "Volparnstetten". Wolpertstetten is presumably an extension of Unterglauheim . In the Middle Ages there were imperial property in the village, so in 1214 the imperial ministerial Heinrich von Kalendin handed over a pledge in Wolpertstetten to the Kaisheim monastery . In 1215, King Friedrich II approved the sale of the chapel and properties in Wolpertstetten by Heinrich von Schleitdorf to the Kaisheim monastery. In 1258 the tithe in Wolpertstetten, originally belonging to the parish Blindheim, came to the Kaisheim monastery. The Vogteirecht , previously owned by the Empire, came to the Duchy of Bavaria in 1268 with the Vogtei Höchstädt through the Conradin inheritance . Bavaria gained state sovereignty over the place around 1400 , which until then was probably exercised by the Counts of Oettingen . The Kaisheim monastery as almost the sole landlord gained lower authority in Wolpertstetten and set up a nursing office in the village, which existed until the secularization of 1803.

The community Wolpertstetten was incorporated into Blindheim on May 1, 1978.
