Bergsdorf Church

Bergsdorf is one of thirteen districts of the city of Zehdenick in the Brandenburg district of Oberhavel . The population is 509 with an area of 1264.35 hectares .
history
The village was first mentioned in 1267 with the name Berwaldesdorpp . Over the centuries, Bergsdorf has belonged to different owners. On April 19, 1828 Bergsdorf was registered as an independent manor. Today's Protestant church was built in 1248 and renovated in 1713 and around 1900. In 1870 the church got an organ.
In 1730 a summer residence was built for the Counts of Eulenburg. It was rebuilt in 1991 by Kurt and Hannelore Mühlenhaupt to accommodate a museum , studio and other things. There are concerts, theater performances and literary readings.
Bergsdorf has been part of the city of Zehdenick since December 31, 2001. Since January 17, 2003, a building that was used as a village school until 1974 has been used as a community center again.
