The Berlin Football Championship 1918-19 was the eighth under the Brandenburg football championship discharged (VBB) Berlin Football Championship . The championship was played this season in a group of 18 teams in a round-robin tournament with a return leg. In the end, the Berlin TuFC Viktoria won the championship for the third time. Due to the First World War , no German football championship was played again this season . The Berlin soccer championship was limited to 13 participants for the next season. BFC Hertha 1892 was disqualified after the first half of the season because the club had paid some players illegally. All remaining games counted as a defeat with 0-0 goals for Hertha. In the following season, the club was allowed to participate in the league again. For the coming season, the league system has been changed slightly. The Berlin clubs first played the participants for the Berlin soccer finals in four regional leagues. The first and second place winners of the four districts, as well as the Berlin Cup winners, qualified for the finals.
