The Bermecke is a 4.7 km long stream in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany . It is the left main source river of the brook and thus the Lottmannshardbach .
geography
The stream rises in the Arnsberg Forest north of the main ridge at an altitude of 532 m above sea level. NN . The headwaters are about 4.1 km north of Meschede on the border with Warstein . Following the border, the stream initially flows in a north-westerly direction. After a stretch of flow of about 1.4 km, its course turns in northeastern directions. At the mouth of the Lütten Bermecke , the course turns again to the northwest. After a 4.7 km long stretch of river, the Bermecke joins at 362 m above sea level. NN with the much smaller Schottmecke southeast of Hirschberg zur Bache .
With a height difference of 170 m, the mean bed slope is 36.2 ‰. the approximately 5.3 km² catchment area is drained to the North Sea via Bache / Lottmannshardbach, Heve , Möhne , Ruhr and Rhine .
The approximately 650 meter long section below the mouth of the Lütten Bermecke is listed in the NRW water station under the Heve water code number. In the German basic map, this section is called Bermecke, which is why it is part of the Bermecke.
