Bernd Isert (1951–2017)

Bernd Isert (born June 26, 1951 in East Berlin ; † January 21, 2017 in Lagos ) was a German graduate engineer , alternative practitioner for psychotherapy , trainer , coach and author .

Life

Bernd Isert grew up in the GDR and studied system theory and cybernetics at the TH Ilmenau with a degree in engineering for technical and biomedical cybernetics. After being imprisoned , he managed to emigrate to the Federal Republic of Germany in 1981 . There he completed several additional training courses : hypnotherapy , neuro-linguistic programming , systemic therapy , solution-oriented short-term therapy , system constellation and kinesiology .

In 1986 he founded the "Metaforum international", which is one of his life's works. In particular, it is a seminar organization that he headed until 2017. In this context, he organized several weeks of qualified, cross-method training courses every year in Italy and Brazil, which were known as “summer and world camps”. In his work he combined methods and developed them further, such as “integrative-systemic coaching”.

Isert was a founding and honorary member , teaching trainer and teaching coach of the DVNLP , alternative practitioner for psychotherapy , erector of the German Society for System Constellations , ECA Vice President for Brazil and member of numerous other associations of NLP users. - For many of us, he has been a teacher, mentor and role model. Networking people was a matter close to his heart, say companions about the deceased.

Bernd Isert found his final resting place on April 25, 2017 in a family grave at the Zepernick cemetery (grave site Arnold and Isert, Dept. 1b No. 216).
