Bernd Lutz

Bernd Lutz (* 1956 ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

After graduating from Konrad-Adenauer-Gymnasium (Langenfeld) , he studied Catholic theology, pedagogy and psychology in Bonn , Innsbruck and Cologne . After doctoral fellowship (1982-1985) of the Episcopal Scholarship Foundation Cusanuswerk he was at the 1989 Bonn University doctorate . From 1989 to 1991 he worked in the parish of St. Adelheid (Cologne-Neubrück) . After his ordination in 1991 he was chaplain in Bensberg and Moitzfeld until 1993 . Since 1995 he has taught as lecturer for parish catechesis on seminary Cologne . From 1995 to 1998 he was a lecturer for didactics in religious education at the University of Cologne . Since 2001 he has been a lecturer in pastoral theology and catechetics at the Archbishop's Diaconal Institute in Cologne. Since the winter semester 2002/2003 he has been teaching pastoral theology at the PTH Sankt Augustin der Steyler Missionare as a professor .

His main research interests are international comparative pastoral theology, religiosity in the unfolded modernity ( postmodernism ), community development, adult catechumenate and intergenerational catechesis.
