Bernhard Abraham Bessel (born April 10, 1814 in Bielefeld , † November 12, 1868 in Wiedenbrück ) was an East Westphalian district administrator and member of the constituent Reichstag of the North German Confederation .

Life

Bernhard Bessel put 1832 the Abitur at the high school Bielefeld and studied law in Heidelberg and Halle . In 1833 he became a member of the Corps Guestphalia Heidelberg . Then he was an auscultator , trainee lawyer and assessor at the Paderborn Higher Regional Court . From 1848 to 1868, of which he was provisional until 1851, he was district administrator of the Wiedenbrück district .

In 1867 Bernhard Bessel was a member of the constituent Reichstag of the North German Confederation for the constituency of Minden 3 ( Bielefeld , Wiedenbrück ) and the Conservative Party .
