Bernhard Flemes

Bernhard Flemes (born October 25, 1875 in Hanover , † March 15, 1940 in Hameln ) was a German teacher , poet , local writer and critic .

Life

Bernhard Flemes was the son of the poet, folklorist and narrator in the Low German language Christian Flemes (1847-1926).

Flemes worked as a teacher in both Hanover and Hameln. As a writer, he stood out primarily with poems , stories and descriptions of the landscapes of his home region .
