Bernhard Lott

Bernhard Heinrich Lott (born April 17, 1950 in Neudenau an der Jagst ; † June 7, 2008 in Karlsruhe ) was a dialect poet and book author, teacher and farmer as well as an important representative of the Palatinate-Franconian dialect.

After graduating from Matthias-Grünewald-Gymnasium in Tauberbischofsheim , he took over his parents' farm after his father's paraplegia. In addition, he studied for teaching at elementary, secondary and secondary schools at the pedagogical universities in Heidelberg and Karlsruhe . Since 1975 Lott has taught at secondary schools in Calw and Karlsruhe. He was married to the journalist, book author and secondary school teacher Doris Lott , and the connection had a son.
