Bernhard Schrammek
Bernhard Schrammek (* 1972 in Leipzig ) is a German musicologist .
Life
Schrammek studied musicology and history at the Humboldt University in Berlin from 1991 to 1997 . From 1995 to 1996 he was in Rome for research purposes. His master's thesis was entitled The Chapel in the Shade. Social structure and church music practice of the Cappella Giulia in the years 1625 to 1650 . In 2000 he was at Christian Kaden with the dissertation biography, social environment and work of the Roman Kapellmeister Virgilio Mazzocchi (1597-1646) with the title "summa cum laude" for Dr. phil. PhD. From 1994 to 2000 he received a scholarship from the Cusanuswerk and from 1998 to 1999 from the German Historical Institute in Rome . Since 2001 he has lived as a freelance musicologist in Berlin and works as a lecturer at the universities of Rostock , Leipzig and Dresden . So far he has written over 800 introductory texts for concerts a. a. the Leipzig Bach Festival , the Berlin Academy of Early Music , the Schwetzingen Festival and the Frankfurt Old Opera . He also works as an editor for ortus musikverlag and as a concert presenter for Deutschlandradio Kultur , SWR2 and RBB .
