Berni Wagner

Berni Wagner (* 1991 ) is an Austrian cabaret artist.

Life

Berni Wagner grew up in Gallneukirchen in Upper Austria , and graduated from the Auhof European High School in Linz in 2009 . He lives and works in Vienna.

In 2013 he premiered his first solo program "Schwammerl". Excerpts from it were awarded the jury and audience award of the Grazer Kleinkunstvogel in the same year . This was followed by appearances throughout Austria and Bavaria, including in the Schwabing clubhouse , the Theatercafé Graz , and the Wiener cabaret Niedermair . From 2015 to 2017 he was part of the formation of the "Long Night of Cabaret", a mixed show that toured throughout Austria. His second solo program “Kitsch” followed in 2016, directed by Hosea Ratschiller . In the same year he performed with Josef Hader , Lisa Eckhart , Clemens Maria Schreiner and Omar Sarsam in the Stadtsaal Wien under the title “Hader & Friends”.

In 2017 he made his debut in the Austrian comedy program “ What's new? ", As well as an acting role in" Tagespresse aktuell "on ORF 1. In the same year he appeared with u. a. Michael Mittermeier , Andreas Vitasek and Thomas Stipsits in the Wiener Stadthalle as part of the “Cabaret Summit”.

In 2018 his third solo program "Babylon!" Followed. Excerpts from it were awarded the middle executioner's ax in the executioner's house (Passau) .
