Bernwies is a district of the municipality of Bad Heilbrunn in the Upper Bavarian district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen . The desert is about four kilometers northeast of Bad Heilbrunn, west of state road 2064 and north of district road TÖL 6 in the Oberbuchen district .

The place belonged to the former municipality of Oberbuchen until 1971.
