The Bertou (also called Berlou ) is a river in France that runs in the Tarn department in the Occitanie region . It rises on the municipal boundary of Gijounet and Fontrieu , near the Col de la Bassine , generally drains in a westerly direction through the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park and flows into the Gijou as a left tributary after around 21 kilometers in the municipality of Vabre .
