Vabre is located in the Albigeois cultural landscape about 17 kilometers northeast of Castres and about 34 kilometers southeast of Albi . Vabre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Pierre-de-Trivisy in the north, Lacaze in the northeast, Fontrieu in the south and east, Le Bez in the south, Lacrouzette in the southwest and Montredon-Labessonnié in the west.
