Navès ( Occitan : Navés ) is a French commune with 687 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Castres and the canton of Castres-3 (until 2015: canton of Castres-Ouest ).
geography
Navès is located about four kilometers south-southwest of the city center of Castres . The gates form the largest part of the north-eastern border of Navès . It then flows into the agout , which forms part of the northern border. Navès is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Castres in the north and east, Labruguière in the south and east, Saint-Affrique-les-Montagnes in the south and south-west, Viviers-lès-Montagnes in the west and south-west and Saïx in the west and north-west.
