Cambon-lès-Lavaur ( Occitan : Cambon de La Vaur ) is a French commune with 333 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region (previously Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Castres and the canton of Lavaur Cocagne (previously Cuq-Toulza ). The inhabitants are called Cambonais .
geography
Cambon-lès-Lavaur is located about 31 kilometers west-southwest of Castres in northern Lauragais on the Girou , which borders the community in the south. Cambon-lès-Lavaur is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Roquevidal in the north, Algans in the east and northeast, Cuq-Toulza in the south and southeast, Le Faget in the south and southwest, Maurens-Scopont in the west and Veilhes in the northwest.
The national route 126 runs through the municipality .
