Pont-de-Larn is located on the northern foothills of the Montagne Noire (Eng. "Black Mountains"), at the confluence of the river Arn in the Thoré . The community is located within the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park, around 17 kilometers southeast of Castres .
